Are all of your dresses off-the-peg?

Yes 🤍 Every gown at Ivory Fox is ready-to-wear and available to take home the very same day. We only have one of each dress, so once it’s gone, it’s gone. We don’t reorder gowns. Every dress is sold as seen, making each one a little bit special.

Do I need to make an appointment to visit Ivory Fox?

Yes — all visits are by appointment only so we can give you our full attention in a relaxed, one-to-one setting. There is a £10 appointment fee, which is non-refundable, but it is fully redeemable against your dress purchase if you find “the one.” This helps us keep each appointment personal and exclusive for every bride.

What price range are your dresses?

Most of our dresses are under £1000, with just a small selection slightly above. We believe finding your dream dress should feel exciting — not overwhelming.

What sizes do you stock?

Our dresses are available in a range of sizes and are listed in size order on our website to make browsing easy. Bridal sizing can differ from the high street, so don’t worry too much about the number on the label. Most gowns can usually be taken in by up to two sizes or let out by around one size by a skilled seamstress, helping you achieve a beautiful fit that feels just right for you.

Do you offer accessories?

Yes, our bridal collection includes a range of accessories including veils, headdresses and belts.

How many guests can I bring?

You’re welcome to bring up to 2 guests to share the experience with you.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend that you wear underwear that matches your skin tone, including a strapless bra and any other support underwear you’re planning to wear on your wedding day. If you already have the shoes you’ll be wearing please bring them with you. No worries if not, we have a range of sample shoes available for you to try on with your dress if you wish to. Please don’t wear fake tan to your appointment as this can stain the dresses.

What happens during my appointment?

You’ll enjoy a relaxed, one-to-one, one-hour appointment where you can try on 4–6 dresses. It’s personal, supportive, and completely pressure-free. If you fall in love with a gown, payment is made in full on the day via bank transfer and you’ll take your dress home with you in a dress bag provided — no waiting, no long lead times.

Do you offer in-house alterations?

No, but we can recommend some wonderful local seamstresses that we work very closely with.

Is there parking near Ivory Fox?
